Chronic Kidney Disease - iOS App

Opportunity: Provide patients who are diagnosed with Stages 3, 4, and 5 Chronic Kidney Disease a way to learn about and manage their illness.

Solution: Developed a tool that helps patients manage their chronic condition by means of clinical education, recipes, and tracking.

Role: Product design: requirements gathering, ideation and sketching sessions, usability testing, UI design.

Context: Agile teams that represent multiple platforms (web responsive, iOS, and Android).

Biggest challenges: Presenting highly clinical health concepts to a diverse group of people who may have limited technical skills.
